    Hey I am on my 3rd 5R55S and they are a pain. I found this company https://www.levelten.com/product_p/mustang%20transmission.htm I put out a little over 500RWHP and race a half dozen times a year. So far so good.

    i have an 06, with a MagnaCharger, Cams, long tube headers, Borla exhaust, 4:56 gears, aluminum Driveshaft, GT500Throttle Body and fuel pumps.     How do I make 400whp in an 06 GT?

    Just an fyi. I am pushing just over 500 at the rear wheels. I have been told and have witnessed myself that that is about max I feel comfortable doing without block work and swapping my 5R55.

    Gauge located

    I have the 3 gauge pod in the pic above. I now want a trans temp gauge and am looking for a place to mount my 4th gauge. Dont want to do a piller mount as I would have 2 open holes :) Thoughts ??

    How durable? 05 GT automatic

    I hate the 5R55. I am on my 3rd and this one seems to be built right. I am 500HP at the rear wheels and race 4x a year. only have 35K on her. The trans also has bands like a minibike and they do not hold up well.

    I have been looking for a Stainless or brushed aluminum one for my 06. Haven't found any manufactured ones. I don't want the stick on to my plastic. Anybody seen one ?
