    Trouble with steering rack

Thank you everyone. A lot of good information to look into. I will be getting a bump steer kit and possibly lca ball joints for a lowered car. Also I will check my steering track bolts if i can even access them, 5.4 DOHC motor in this engine bay is hard to work around.

    Trouble with steering rack

Boost is where the 5.4 shines. And I did a 5.4 for the sound, which it beats the coyote with by a mile. I did this swap because it was weird and I want to push this readily available and very cheap swap option to see what I can make it do.

    Trouble with steering rack

I'm definitely having steering confidence issues when going over bumps, you really think it could be the bumpstops? The car is lowered pretty damn low so that does add up. To clear it up, on normal ground with the car off (so no ps) I move the wheel and can feel I have a good amount of play due...

    putting in 5.4 2v in 2010 mustang.

You can read the first sentence of my message to answer your own question, and why so pressed about an opinion? Coyote swaps in an s197 is boring, they come with that from factory. A built 4.6 3v would be cooler imo, and a 5.4 2v is super weird and I love it.

    Trouble with steering rack

Yeah I know, i tighten the bolts, they loosen in a week. Maybe poly engine mounts weren't a good idea. Haven't taken it to a shop yet don't have the money.

    Trouble with steering rack

Update: My engine was blown, I put a 5.4 Lincoln navigator engine in her and its awesome, made my own upper control arm, and my steering rack still loosens itself every time I fix it lol.

    Freeze Plug access help

I'm having trouble finding the freeze plug that I need. Everything on AutoZone/O'Reilly's says "universal fit" which cannot be true. Anyone know what size freezeplug fits the 2009 mustang?

    Freeze Plug access help

I am keeping the car, and it does look possible if I remove enough stuff, the headers and steering tack for sure. I'm not sure how easy it is to get the headers off looks like I'll be deconstructing a lot unless someone has a method do this easier.

    Freeze Plug access help

My 09 Gt has blown a freeze plug right under the rear most cylinder exhaust port. I'd love some help with two things. A. What is the part number for this plug and is there any vendors I should stay away from? It's a 4.6 triton f150 engine that has been fitted with 5.4 internals, don't believe...

    Trouble with steering rack

Thanks everyone! It was a problem with me being stupid, the bolt comes in from the top and I was trying to tighten the two welded nuts from the bottom. All good now. I went to take my car off the ramps and checked the fluid levels when I got it down and saw it wouldn't hold coolant. Then...
