    Got a rattling in the rear quarter panels.

    figured out my rattle finally. It was the muffler hanger bracket, drivers side. The bigger one with three bolts holding it to the body frame. Took it off, cleaned it up, put black RTV on the contact points where it sits metal to metal, and bolted it back on. No more rattle. What a relief.

    I've had an annoying rattle in my '08 for several months. Sounds like it comes from drivers side back by the axle. Been in the trunk with someone else driving, tried several things.     Took the fugly automatic shifter out of my 2008 GT/CS. And put in a TCI streetfigher ratchet shifter.
