Sounds like my 2V did after i sucked up some water, hydro-locked it and bent a rod. I rebuilt the whole thing and the only thing i could find wrong was that one rod wasn't straight and was hitting the cylinder wall. I had my machinist check it over and then I slapped a new rod and rings. Ran...

I use clamps similar to these. They run $10 at O'reilly Autoparts. The clamps i get don't have the step to them but, they are really good...
I've got pypes M-80's clamped on my Pacesetter H-Pipe right now. Would probably sound better with a x-pipe. It's only about an $90 experiment if you buy from AM. It's in the 99-04 muffler section.
It's fairly loud but really deep. I have long tubes though,
I did this and then decided to just install long tubes. It was going to happen, just sped up the process.
Torch is the best bet, you just have to be careful not to hit anything heat sensitive with the flame. I used to remove bolts like this by using a welder to slowly build up a small bead...
I drove my car about 5000 miles after purchasing the car before the ballast melted. I had not changed anything. Melting is indeed caused by a short but, the short was caused by something failing inside the crappy HID's. I went back to standard bulbs because i don't need crappy Chinese crap in...
HID's are usually made cheaply and untested. I would keep that stuff away from expensive stuff like that. Imagine if your ballast melted and destroyed your fuse box. My car came with HIDs. One day a headlight wasnt working. The ballast was a puddle of plastic on my fender.
Those fail fairly common from what I hear. you will need to rent a pulley puller from a parts store. $80 isn't bad if it will hold up. its like 120-180 for ford replacement parts.
you`ll more than likely have to pull the cai, radiator top tank, powersteering tank, and the fan assembly out to...
I can't believe no one mentioned this. There are a ton of ground wires on our cars. just one having a bad connection can cause problems. If you had an accident and then your car didn't run right, you may be missing one of them. Auto body shops are not mechanics and may have forgot a ground wire.
If you are talking about the flares, make sure they are round. You can always use copper gasket there. Use anti seize if nothing else. Sometimes just anti seize will make the seal. If nothing else it makes, it easier to remove your exhaust.
If you are talking about the slip fit connections...
Sounds dangerous as hell but, a can of ether works great for finding vacuum leaks. An old timer showed me in highschool. My truck had a vacuum leak on an elbow on the bottom of the throttle body.
when you spray the ether near a leak, or rather an air leak into your vacuum line... your...
those bolts are only 89inlb if i remember right. like 1 finger on a small ratchet tight. most torque wrenches wont even go low enough.
small drill bit and an easy out. they make attachments for drills that are a flexible cable so you can get in tight places. Not necessarily the part in...
