Yes, I think there is a topic discussing removing and replacing the stepper motors. I did all if them at once so that I would not have to open it up again. Took about two hours total. I found the motors on ebay for under $20.00. Soldering iron and some patience
I have the same issue on my 05 coupe. It fills with water sitting without any driving. I found a leak at the spoiler bolts and removed and sealed them. Still leaking. Need to hop in the trunk with a hose on top I guess to find the leak. Going to spend more time this weekend.
Could be that the street tune was meant to use the original airbox, or it is just bad. Really not much difference between the tunes. With an auto it may be shift points and throttle response. Otherwise very similar. Been running a perf tune for 14 years with no issues. Mileage is around 25...
I had the same concern last weekend. The dip stick showed mid range on oil level. Drained the oil with the car on a slant, car facing slightly uphill. Only got 4 quarts out. Hard to believe that 2 quarts are still in the car after draining.
Could be a loose fastener in the rear upper control arm as well. Mine made a noise after a few weeks due to replacing the rear upper arm. I found that one fastener had worked loose.
