    Cam options

    I have custom Comp Cams in mine, they are based on the 12750 grind but modified for my turbo setup. I have been very happy with them. Comp Cams will make you a custom grind for the same price as off the shelf, if you give them a call.

    With a turbo you would be better off with the stock cams over the Hot Rods, they have way too much overlap for a turbo setup. Do some searching on here, there were several members that modified the On3 setup for better performance.

    I would recommend sending the Mutha Thumpr cams back. The MT cams are more for sound then performance. If you are trying to get the most out of it NA there are much better cams out there. I would give Comp Cams a call, they have a department just for helping you choose the best cam profiles...

    I also agree on the HP for the street. I have mine tuned for 500rwhp for the street and still need DR's for real traction. I also have an auto, which is much easier to drive with high HP than a stick.

    Actually you would be money ahead to just sell your v6 and buy an 11-14 GT. You would have to replace almost everything on your car doing the swap. As stated, the only way to really do it on the cheap is to get a wrecked donor car a transfer everything.

    Did the new motor come with everything you need for stock? There is a ton of stuff to change to return to NA from boosted.

    As you have discovered, you need the car very high to remove the over axle pipes. It is very hard to get the car high enough without a lift. I was never able to do it on jack stands without dropping the rear.
