No it worked great. I put a pioneer deck in after my wife got a car with bluetooth and GPS. It works great for streaming local songs or pandora. that is mostly what I used it for. I sold the car and set it back to mostly stock so I have alot of stuff to sell.

I think about 3 years. I used it at the track like on like 5-6 trips there and it worked like a champ. I removed it a while back when I was in the process of selling the car. Let me know if you have any other questions.
