thanks guys...I know the tires do most of the work here but I am replacing the stock rotors and pads (cuz they need it) and I just wanted advice on getting the most bang for my buck without going to fluff...your advice is well heeded here...looks like stock rotors, ceramic pads and fresh brake...
I am looking to replace the brakes on a 2005 Mustang GT...I am looking for better than OE performance but there are so many choices and I am uninterested in paying for fluff (or upgrades that I will never use)...anyone offer up some thoughts and experiences???
I have a sometime driver 2005 GT...
was able to get my MAF sensor off and clean it (one of the screws was rounded out)...found out that my R-13 was nearly empty (unlike what I thought before) and ended up adding a 20 oz can of A/C Pro and more than 12 oz more...compressor is working as it should and the air is ice cold again...

2nd wash and detail ...hard to believe it looks this good...still has finish work needed but this is totally serviceable...(looks better in the photo)

installed repaired instrument cluster (thanks Circuit Board Medics), changed oil to Mobil 1, cleaned throttle body (huge change in idle smoothness) as it was filthy from previous owner and changed fuel filter (nice upgrade in run ability)...
