thanks guys...I know the tires do most of the work here but I am replacing the stock rotors and pads (cuz they need it) and I just wanted advice on getting the most bang for my buck without going to fluff...your advice is well heeded here...looks like stock rotors, ceramic pads and fresh brake...

I am looking to replace the brakes on a 2005 Mustang GT...I am looking for better than OE performance but there are so many choices and I am uninterested in paying for fluff (or upgrades that I will never use)...anyone offer up some thoughts and experiences??? I have a sometime driver 2005 GT...

was able to get my MAF sensor off and clean it (one of the screws was rounded out)...found out that my R-13 was nearly empty (unlike what I thought before) and ended up adding a 20 oz can of A/C Pro and more than 12 oz more...compressor is working as it should and the air is ice cold again... Bill

2nd wash and detail ...hard to believe it looks this good...still has finish work needed but this is totally serviceable...(looks better in the photo) Bill

installed repaired instrument cluster (thanks Circuit Board Medics), changed oil to Mobil 1, cleaned throttle body (huge change in idle smoothness) as it was filthy from previous owner and changed fuel filter (nice upgrade in run ability)... Bill

it was done locally and out of warranty...original owner says it was a 6K mile donor engine... Thanks 86GT351 Bill

is there any way I can find out what year or version 4.6 rebuilt/replaced engine is in a 2005 Mustang GT??? I know the 4.6 was used in many Ford products and the GT I am looking at supposedly had the engine rebuilt or replaced...the current owner cannot locate paperwork and is not helpful in...

well, I heard back from the owner who said perhaps this weekend he will put a new battery in it and we can go for a drive...if I like it, we may yet do a deal on this...I'll let you know after the weekend, we'll see. Bill
