I am having the same problem but don't have a check engine light and no codes. My code ready might be to cheap to read any codes so I don't know if I need a better one.
Aussie,
my miss is random so will this tester see that? so at idle with the miss I would hold the test over each coil pak and see what it registers, right?
Key to getting the plugs out is to use an impact wrench to take them out. the rattle of the wrench breaks them loose so they don't come apart. Plenty of YouTube videos showing how to do it and also how to use the special tool to get the bottom piece out when they do come apart. Sometimes they do...
Motorcraft plugs, didn't need gaping. Don't think I got lube on tip of plug.
Do have original injectors but I was hoping to get a code.
Will post what I find out
Thanks
Had a check engine light and miss. Checked code and it was misfire on cylinder #2.
182,000 miles.
Changed all plugs, with no problems and #2 coil pak.
Now have a miss at idle, clears up above about 1000 RPM.
No check engine light, engine runs good on the road.
Any ideas??
TIA
Rick
two or three different brackets are made that attach under the front and the arms come out so the plate is mounted on them and no holes drilled in front facia.
