    A cam phaser broke, so he wasen't sure if it was from that. He said the heads and cams looked fine when he installed the hot rod cams, so i'm not really sure where the metal came from.

    Well, the shop just emailed me and said the noise didn't go away. So he is getting a ford engineer to look at it since it is so new. Only 1,200 miles on it.

    No i wasen't there when he found it. And uh it made it to the shop but running very bad and the check engine light came on, on the way there.

    I was getting hot rod cams installed. The shop found the broke phaser. He don't know how it broke. It also sent pieces inside the timing chain and it was making a whining noise.

    Would a dented oil pan cause low oil pressure?? Which in turn cause a cam phaser to break?? Any suggestions why a cam phaser would break?

    Ok thank you will try some of that stuff you posted. I Lifted it back up and saw that it is hitting the A-frame? or subframe something on the passenger side. Only 1 pipe is doing it. Its not to loud anymore but still can hear it. Its going to the shop next week to get hot rod cams installed...

    Well i put my stock air box back on and reloaded the stock tune from the X-Cal 3 and the car won't start. Mileage is all dashes and security light is flashing. So i think its the PATS system. Anyway to fix it or have to get the computer re-flashed by Ford??

    No check engine lights, no its not hitting the driveshaft. I think it might be in the tune why its almost dieing. Do you think it would be alright if i put the stock air box on and reloaded the stock tune with the long tubes and offroad h-pipe?? I am getting the hot rod cams and dyno tuned...

    I am using stock motor mounts and jba recommends replacing them with the steeda ones. That might be the problem as i believe everything is tightened down.

    going straight, turning, anything really, but i only hear it when i am slowing down. Like ill go 60 then just put it in neutral and as it gets slower it gets louder then when i stop the car almost dies and then the noise goes away after it idles for about 5 seconds or so
