    My ‘07 has 3.31 gears and I’m happy with the gas mileage that I get, 26 hwy and 21 city; and it’s plenty quick for me.

    If you look under the fuses in the fuse box you might find the burned out terminals that power the two fan motor settings. Both of mine were fried and the high temp completely failed.

    Do you recommend the OEM Motorcraft plugs. All I have over stock is CAI, long tube headers, hi flow cats, x pipe, Magnflow exhaust and tune adjusted to mods.

    To me, in hindsight, moving the relays and fuses to the external relay module was the easiest fix. I didn't do anything about the burned wire connectors in the box. I just cut them off about four inches from the fan pigtail and taped them off securely. I also replaced the fan with a GT 500...

    I had a little trouble butt soldering the 10 G wire to the original wires that fed into the fan pigtail. If I had it to do over I would have stripped a little more insulation and wrapped the smaller gauge around the heavier gauge. What I did was shove the strands of each wire into the other...

    Those inserts look great! I replaced mine with the Coverlay plastic inserts about six years ago, and I like them, but they aren't soft against your elbow like I'm sure yours are.
