Update: I replaced the fuse today and it seems to turn on when I ground it, both the low and high fan and it's not blowing the fuse. I'm not really sure what to make of this... the fan turns on when the coolant temp reaches 216f, seem high imo. But it seems to be working now. Thank you so much for your help and holding my hand through this lol.
I had a reply typed out earlier and somehow it didn’t post. I was going to say maybe that fuse is too small. I’m glad it’s working right now, that means the wiring is ok. Just make sure to keep an eye on it, that fuse may overheat and melt. Those fans pull a lot of current. This is why I went with that leash electronics relay module.

216 seems about right for the factory calibration. I thought it was too high as well.

So I finally did mine. And now the fan only turns on when I turn on the AC. It doesn't turn on any other way, and I saw the coolant temp go up to 210f. I also replaced my fan. Any help is appreciated.
To me, in hindsight, moving the relays and fuses to the external relay module was the easiest fix. I didn't do anything about the burned wire connectors in the box. I just cut them off about four inches from the fan pigtail and taped them off securely. I also replaced the fan with a GT 500 fan to preclude problems that some of the guys have had with the stock fan resistors burning out.
