Hello all,
Have a 2007 Roush Stage 3, imported to Germany back in 2007. The car was modified to meet EU standards, means mainly the tail lights and turn lights were adjusted. This includes modified hardware (tail lights) and some extra wires to split the brake lights from indicators. In europe turn lights need to have an orange colour.
This setup is working still without issue.
Now I wanted to assembly aftermarket LED lights, for which I need to go back to US standards, otherwise it wouldn´t work.
I installed the OEM lights (US variant) and tested the fuction. Actually everything is working, except the break lights.
I did some research and found, that the Nr. 5 on the tail light connector is used for the function of the indicator + break light. This is controlled by the SJB. (If both, turn light and break light is on, the turn light should be prioritized by the SJB)
However, it seems that the break light gets no signal from the SJB and I am wondering how it can be. I am pretty sure, that the SJB software was not modified. The third break light is working, means only the left and right break light do not receive any signal.
Til now, I couldn´s see any wire, which was cut.
Hope you have any idea!
Thanks,
Christian
