The shop that told you steel rims were bad were clearly trying to take you for a fool. Glad you didn’t buy from them. The new wheels are painted black with a machined face then clear coat over.
First of all, get proper HID bulbs, not some LED equivalent. The chrome bowl of the projector is meant for the light arc of a Xenon gas HID bulb. The middle of a HID bulb is the brightest light point as opposed to, let’s say a filament bulb, where the light point is the filament which runs the...
Try putting the rear wheel to the front. The rears are wider and have a different offset. If anything you could go to the dealership and buy 2 rears so that you’d have a square setup. Unless you want staggered.
Mustangforums has a topic on this but it’s not easy. A lot of wiring replacement and I believe the navi has to be unlocked and paired to your car. Easier to buy a Dynavin, it’s plug and play, even the back up camera is just a plug in. No splicing. I’d rather go that route than OEM due to the...
I’m using Mishimoto hoses and they don’t collapse for my catch can. After 4000 kms, the catch can was almost full. So the hoses are definitely not getting restricted.
What’s the length of the flanges? I measured the distance on belt sander at the middle of each roller and I’ve got 14.5” of flat surface. You might be able to fit it on a belt sander and since you’re only taking material off the middle, you’re not actually using the whole surface area of the...
I was using the same setup to grind down the flanges. Sanding belt on a flat surface. Takes so much time. Glad I found a belt sander big enough for my headers. Saved so much time. Maybe check some local machine shops to grind them down. They’d have a much larger belt sander.
Maybe try a different gasket like Felpro. MAHLE gaskets are good if your flanges are completely flat and no warping. Felpro is a little thicker so it would seal better with a slightly warped flange.
I used a belt sander https://www.homedepot.ca/product/ryobi-120v-4-inch-by-36-inch-belt-disc-sander/1000747387 like this to grind the flanges flat without taking off too much material and a Felpro gasket that came with my AFE power headers. I have a V6 so the headers fit perfectly on top the...
