Will the TPMS sensors need to be retrained when I change my rims or will they still be programmed once I put them in the new rims?

Ive pulled my stockers for my drag wheel dozens of times and never put them back in a specific place. I bet your good to go reusing the oem ones already trained to the car

I believe that it doesn't matter if you put it in the correct spot. Only because when the light pops up on the dash it tells you to check tire pressure. If it tells you the exact pressure if each tire then it would make a difference

I have swapped back and forth on two sets of fomoco sensors, never discriminating what corner each sensor goes to, have yet to set a sensor, have yet to have a problem.

I bought a set of track pack rims and tires and put them on my car without having to reprogram them.

These are the aftermarket valve stem type for 2007-2009 Mustangs. I put the sensors in my new rims and the car did recognize them. No need to retrain them.

^this

Two of my friends one with a 13 and one with a 14 bought completely different wheels and tpms sensors swapped them out and have never had to train the computer again.

Anyone know why?
