Every time I drive around slowly I hear a slight click/clink coming from the left rear area like around the rear driver side tire . I going to replace all the bushings to see if that will cure the problem , I also replaced the shock with the oem motorcraft shocks just to be on the safe side. Does any one know what could it be or has had this problem?

Lol, I've been chasing a little clicking noise from that same side for months. Found a loose center cap on my rim. Haha. I put a piece of tape around it and popped it back in and it's been quiet since.

I wouldn't think a clicking clinking noise would be a bushing without any other symptoms. And if you hear it when you are turning slowly the suspension isn't really articulating very much. But I could be completely wrong.

My car makes all sorts of creaking/groaning sounds when I go around corners.

It's just simply a part of the Mustang experience.

I got used to it.

If it was dead quiet it wouldn't be the same would it ? :)

Could be:

Lower control arm bushings
Shock absorber bushings
Panhard bar bushing
Worn bushing in rear swaybar endlink
Worn coil spring isolator
Loosely fitting brake pads due to missing/broken clip

Well the sound is not as bad when I'm driving on the street but only when their is bumps and holes on the road is when you hear a click . I'm assuming it's the bushing have to much play in them and it happens when the rear axle is flexing.

That's just kind of silly. And what happens when it doesn't go away?

I agree. It would be daft to just throw parts at the problem and hope it goes away.
You need to raise the car on a lift, closely inspect the bushings, and use a pry bar to see if there's any excessive movement at certain joints. You might elect to upgrade some of the good rubber bushings to urethane as a preventative measure but make sure you've found the culprit first.

Are you sure it's coming from the rear end of the car?I had clicking and popping on my 05 GT. Turned out to be front end sway bar end links. The stock original ones from Ford are a piece of crap.Replaced both with new improved Ford links, problem solved.

Yea it's getting worse. It's more like a click than a clunk and it's coming from the rear driver side tire. All passengers that sit down their ask if I have big things in the trunk. I'm going to replace endlinks rods and bushings (oem stuff for now ) to see if it resolves the noise plus both looked a little worn out. I'm assuming previous owners overlooked or neglected the rear suspension. (I'm the 4th owner btw)

I had the same issue and it became very loud and apparent after I installed lowering springs, struts/shocks, panhard bar. The clunk went away when I installed the new swaybars which leeds me to believe that the oem swaybar endlinks were shot.

Yea it sounds like something is lose and moving back and forth whenever I go drive slow and their is uneven ground. Like if their is play and or ware of something. Worse case senerio I would have to replace even thing in the back in order to start new and fresh.
