Hey Everyone,

I'm new to mustangs but have owned a ford in one form or another for pretty much my entire adult life. I've had a wide variety of cars over the years and decided to try a mustang out this time around. Picked up the car about 4 weeks ago now and so far I'm really happy with my decision.

I bought a 2014 Mustang GT C/S manual in deep impact blue with the glass roof option and 3.73 rear gear. The car is a fair amount of mileage on it already with 147,000km (91,000 miles), but the car seems to be in pretty good shape mechanically. The only thing I have had to fix on it so far was the coolant expansion tank which had a very slow coolant leak from age, really easy fix though. The previous owner had deleted the mufflers from the car and while it sounded pretty cool at times it just wasn't what I wanted. It also had terrible drone at highway speeds. So I ordered up the MBRP street series catback exhaust and installed it on the car and I'm much happier with it now. It's quiet when I want it to be and is still pretty loud when you get into the throttle.

Next things on the list are going to be a suspension refresh and new tires. Maybe new wheels too...but I kinda like the C/S wheels right now. For the suspension I was thinking of either going with the koni orange struts and shocks with the eibach lowering springs or possibly going with the pedders coilover kit. I don't have any plans to track the car though, so I am thinking the koni's and lowering springs are probably the best bang for the buck. What do you guys think?

Here are a couple pictures, including one with it beside my old summer car. I had to sell the mini when I bought the mustang because I just didn't have the room to keep both.

It's a shame to have to sell the Mini....it wouldn't fit on a shelf in a closet??
I really considered keeping both, and keeping the mini in storage at my friend's place but decided against it. I had it for 6 years and had my fun with the car, it was time to let someone else enjoy it. There are so many cool cars out there to try and experience, so I try not to get hung up on one vehicle for too long.
