It doesn't matter. Never said that it did. But he has no car. He says he's getting a glass roof 09 GT. He also says he's going to install a GT500 drivetrain into it. Not gonna happen. It's a troll post, pops. Learn how to recognize them.
It's 2024. Why are you going for a 3V build on a 2V car? Makes no sense from any angle. If it was a factory 3V car then maybe. Coyote swap makes the most sense. This almost like a troll post it's so ridiculous.
Retrofit the 2010-14 mirrors with the paintable caps. It has been done before.

You're on the right track. The 11-14 3.7 V6 and 15-17 3.7 are the best V6 Mustangs Ford ever built. Don't think you will find a 15-17 for $10K though, so keep looking at the 11-14 cars which have the better styling anyway (and a solid rear axle).
The clutch, and specifically the pressure plate, is the root of the problem. The fix is a real clutch like the McLeod RST.
I would pass on that car. If the decklid is that badly rusted, the undercar has got to be at least as bad. Maybe look for a southern car. Damn shame somebody let that car...
"The tick" is a normal sound from these engines. There are 32 valves and four cams operating. It is a non-issue.
That car looks great. 6R80 and Grabber Blue. Go for it if the price is reasonable.
I would look on the used market, as the feds have been cracking down on that. Failing that, Supreme Muffler in Metairie may be able to fab something legal up for you.
The only way I know of to get that is by buying both cowl panels. They are still available. Expensive though. I recently bought a set for a 10-14 car...
