    2nd new alternator passed both tests and everything seems fine, no codes in the little bit I've driven it so far. I had to drive a few times yesterday before fixing and the codes appeared just minutes into each drive. I "think" I'm good now. :)

    I finally got the wire replaced. When I was searching for the original replacement, many sites showed they were no longer being made so I opted for the upgraded cable from PA Performance. Then new one is much beefier and I'm very happy with it. This photo is the old and new cables side by side.

    The new cable was delivered today, but they sent me the wrong one. It's the shorty version and only 30 inches long. They are expediting me the correct one. This cable is great quality though, very beefy and a huge upgrade.

    Be prepared for them to break! I did mine around 100K and 7 of 8 broke! Tried everything I'd seen online but they still broke and I had to buy a special tool. 30 minute job took a whole day!

    Anyone know where I can get this little white connector? It connects the part where the ABS sensor plugs into, to the chassis. This isn't for the ABS sensor, but where the sensor plugs into. (not the wheel end) This isn't the correct assembly but it does show the piece I need.

    Finally got the new cable installed. Took me 2 1/2 hours. The top ground and fuse box connections were super easy. Taking the tire off made it easy to access the connection to the starter, but the ground connection underneath was miserable to get on and off.
