Wanted to update in case someone else has this problem.
Watched a couple of Youtube videos just to know what it took to pull the pedal quadrant. I pulled the drivers seat to give me more room to work. Best tip was to pack some rags under the hose connection at the firewall, made it easier to...
I can weld and have a friend that can fabricate so it will get fixed. Just wanted to know what others have done and if there were any parts or upgrades available to make it a better fix. I see they make a metal end for the cylinder instead of the factory plastic one so I'll get one of those...
Title says it all, pin on the clutch pedal that connects to the MC broke off of the pedal. I've seen mentions of this when searching but no upgrade or fix. Sounds like the pedal is discontinued. Anyone had this problem or fixed this problem in the past? If no parts or upgrades are available I...
Who is reading the codes? Is there any diagnosing being done or just random parts replacement?
I would read and document all codes, then clear them after an underhood inspection.
Are there any aftermarket "performance" items installed. Any owner or previous owner modifications especially...
Previous owner started doing some mods on 09 before we got it. Check engine light, obnoxious noise and no real performance gains. Removed the CAI and sold it and put a muffler back on it, of course he threw the good factory muffler away. Check engine light fixed itself with the CAI removed...
Like every other part most are faulty, defective or made wrong. I'd suspect the pulley of it has the tone wheel on it and the problem began as soon as the part was changed.
What after market parts are on the car? That's usually the thing that causes the problems. Cold air intake and TB spacers and all of the rest of the stuff causes lean readings. I had lean readings when I bought my 99, removed the aftermarket parts and car runs perfectly.
OK got the stereo working. The factory system even though it's the cheap basic radio is controlled by the communication network. no simple direct 12v ign, supply in the radio plug. There is a kit that will tie it together but the easiest simple and cheap way to do it is tie into a power wire...
Thanks for the diagram
Base model radio no amps. I still don't see radio power from the ACM. I have batt power on a yellow wire in the large connector along with black ground. Fuse 20 is good, need someone to start the car while I check voltage at the fuse, arms are too short. Fuse 56 in...
2009 installing a simple single DIN Pioneer radio. I have battery power and ground but no switched power on red with black tracer in the harness plug. Radio fuse underhood is good. Radio start fuse in kick panel fuse box is good but has no power to it with key on. Anyone have a diagram how the...
I just wanted someone with an owners manual to confirm. Car has a 7.5" rear
I did the google looks like it's just 80w-90
Wanted confirmation from an owners manual as I don't have one. Most of the google has people using 75w-140 with no...
Your codes are for the O2 HEATER circuit, do the O2 sensors have voltage for the heater circuit and ground? Shouldn't cause a performance problem once heated up. What's the fuel pressure? Ford ECU's are usually pretty good.
@Spells do yourself a favor and start your own thread if you want to get help. Of course, give ALL of the necessary info like Make, model, year, engine and symptoms and include what modifications and any work the has been previously done.
I added a fog light grill to a base model. Installed a switch for the lights, put a relay near the underhood fuse panel and tapped into the parking lights for the relay. Fog lights work any time the lights are on controlled by a switch on the dash.
