WTB: Near mint stock K-Member 05-09

How soon do you need? I just ordered a "truck load" of BMR suspension parts. So I will be pulling mine in the next few weeks. It is a 2009 with less than 14k on the clock. Car doesn't see any weather, so I cant imagine there is much in the way of corrosion..... PS - I am in PA

TB and intake worth it or not?

I have both on my 2009 Bullitt that I put on after the FRPP stage 2 heads. Keep your money. If I had to do it again, I wouldn't. Performance improvements versus money invested is poor at best.

attn: those of you with uncoated long tube headers

additional heat? I run the American Racing long tube headers with high flow cats. I did experience some foot well heat. It gave me the perfect excuse to pull the interior and cover the floor and tunnel back to the package tray with Dyna Mat. Not only did it help with heat but also with road noise

Gotta love those flat top pistons for making great compression!

    B53 capabilities

You may want to go back and recalculate the anticipated compression ratio. (I used to have a template for calculating compression ratios, but cant put my finger on it right now). Your post didn't mention which 3V head you are using. With a Stage 2 / Stage 3 head and a 10cc dish, I would have...

    Power steering line help!

Here in central PA, we have a few vendors that will use the existing ends to build a hose (braided as an option) to any length that you want..... Most of the commercial truck facilities have hose building capabilities. That is where I go to have mine made for my projects.....

    Battery or alternator???

I am NOT a technician...... I would suspect battery. My reasoning - If it was alternator and it ate the battery to the point where it wouldn't start, when you jumped it and removed the cables it would have shut down. I'd charge the battery and have a load test done on the battery...

Time to fix the shifter boot... need help.

None! I love my Barton shifter..... It looks like the top (area that should go around shifter shaft) was cut off. To the best of my knowledge, there should be a "round bezel" sewn into the boot that holds the boot at the bottom of the shift knob. I would try using a large rubber oring around...

    Brembo Upgrade

The front caliper on the GT mounts to a housing and the housing mounts to the knuckle/spindle. It is my understanding that the Brembos mount directly to the knuckle/spindle and do not use the housing that is used on the GT. If you are comparing the mounting surfaces, they may be different...

Time to fix the shifter boot... need help.

FWIW.... I have stock Bullitt shifter boot that I use on a flat Barton shifter lever. It worked fine for me...... And I agree that the boot in the picture does not look like a stock Bullitt boot. The collar is too big.....

Thank you for the link. Great information. I really like what I see with this SC. I am seriously considering this mod for my mustang during my "winter project time" I am trying to eliminate as many of the possible "issues" before I start on a project like this. Would the use of individual...
