    How much oil remains in pan with engine running?

    I am using a 2007 4.6 3v motor in a Cobra kit car and I have to cut 2" off the depth of the oil pan. I have widened the lower section to 14.5" so I don't loose capacity, in fact I will pickup a 1/2 quart. I am figuring about 5 1/2 quarts in the pan and 1 quart in the filter, based on pan area I...
