    2013 GT500 production

Does anyone know when the 2013 GT500 production will end? I was just at a dealer (where I bought my 2006 GT) and this one dude said they stopped making them and are no longer taking orders. They had a black with red stripes GT500 there with every option at about $67K. Too much for me, I just...

Fastlane tears down the 2011 5.0

cdc7yREbJZQ Pretty interesting me thinks. I like how the roller followers no longer just lay there like on the 3v. Keeping those things from falling off while doing a cam swap is a PITA on the 3v. All you have to do is breathe on them and they fall off.

    World Cup is so boring...

:roflmao: I really do hate soccer. I like the cars of NASCAR and the crashes (non-fatal ones that is), but other than that it's also a snooze fest. NHRA FTW!

    Boss 302R intake manifold

I couldn't find anything about this posted already, so here we go! I found an article today that talked about some interesting things about the FRPP Boss 302R's engine, mainly the intake manifold. It looks pretty interesting and judging from that article, maybe will make its way on the...

    2011 vs 2005-2010 manual trans

Here are some calculations I did showing the final ratios with the new 6-speed and the old 5-speed and hwy rpms for each. These are things people usually ask for a lot, especially when figuring out what gear they should go with. Also when looking to find what gear with the new 6-speed is...

Anyone know that part number to the V6/GT500 flat black side skirt? I assume they're both the same thing.

    Vacuum and PCM

How does the PCM on the 3v know what the vacuum is? Apparently there is no MAP sensor on the 3v so what reads the vacuum then? I've been looking through the Ford Service Manuals online but have not seen anything that jumps out at me.

    Cam lobe question

Today my Hot Rod cams came in from Sutton (as some of you know I was scammed on ebay a while back and received stock cams) and I've been looking at these things and something seems weird to me. Both cams have the proper XE-XXX part numbers so I know they're what they're supposed to be, but the...

    2010 GT500 seats

** I don't know if this is the right forum. The others didn't seem any better, hah. ** Is it possible to put 2010 GT500 seats in my 2006 GT? Also, can I even order them? lol! Being able to order them first would kind of help. ;) From pics, they look killer and look to have good support. I'd...

    Hot Rod cams

Alright so I bought some used Hot Rod cams on ebay but now I'm kind of worried I got boned out of $600. On the box it says XE-XXX, where XXX is some letters and numbers but on the cams themselves it says RF-XXX. Is that normal or did I get fucked? Does someone have a pic of that area of the...

    Valve spring compressor

I remember reading, perhaps on here, somewhere that you don't have to use the special 3v spring compressor when installing an NSR cam. Is that true and which one can be used that's hopefully cheap? :) No way am I paying the normal price for the 3v one. I found a 2v compressor for like $40. I...

    Needing new phasers?

I noticed on Brenspeed's site that they sell replacement cam phasers and the description says this "Often it is not possible to install comp cam phaser limiters in high mile cam phasers. This new Motorcraft cam phaser is an excellent option when high mile phasers are creating a problem." Why...
