    The $2000 Truck Coyote.

I paid $1750 for mine with around 80k. The truck cams are low/mid range optimized and they fall off hard in the higher RPMS. They will not make full use of better flowing manifolds. I saw a FOX swap in a FB group that had a CJ manifold and the truck cams and his numbers were less than...

Nope, all the Coyote's auto and manual, all modulars for that matter have the same trans pattern. I got my mt82, RST clutch, and flywheel from a BOSS that was going auto turbo 400. There are people getting rid of MT82's all the time, you just have to find one that's not broken. If you got the...

    2010 SC 4.0L to 13 F150 coyote swap.

The only thing I got from an F150 was the engine. Everything else was pieced together. I'm not sure if you can use the F150 ECU in a mustang, but I'd imagine you could. The Engine/ECU don't care what they are in as long as your feeding it the proper inputs. As far as how much you can look to...

    2010 SC 4.0L to 13 F150 coyote swap.

Well, I said I wasn't going to but..... My ECU came in yesterday and I'm on night shift this weekend, so I said I would leave it alone until Tues when I get off. However, I got off this morning and said screw it and went ahead and hooked up the ECU. Got the mileage off the donor car when the...

    2010 SC 4.0L to 13 F150 coyote swap.

All I know for now is that Sykes has had my ECU for almost 7 weeks. I contacted parts farm and they got one in the mail less than 12 hours after payment. So as long as it works when it gets here they are in good terms with me.

I've pretty much got the car ready to crank, weren't for the lovely individual that has had my ECU for over a month I would have been able to attempt a start today. Got the fuel lines ran Pinion flange switched out Starter installed Pressure tested my old Mishimoto rad. Ford racing fan Rad...

Got to wrestle with the transmission today. Went ahead and changed the fluid while it was out. Trans slid in like a butter. Also got the passenger side header in. Started getting dark before I got to the driver.

    2010 SC 4.0L to 13 F150 coyote swap.

Got the engine sealed back up, dressed and dropped in the car. Weather has turned on me again so I'm done for this week. If the weather holds out on my next few days off, I should be able to get about 80% complete. Still waiting on my ECU unfortunately.

    2010 SC 4.0L to 13 F150 coyote swap.

I've been at the mercy of the postman. Shipping delays have been working me. The TTY bolts for the cam caps and phasers were delayed. Took nearly a month for my billet crankshaft sprocket to show up. Now that I've got the crank sprocket in I can go ahead and time the engine and seal it back up...

Got the accelerator pedal and pigtail wired in. Just a heads up for anyone needing the pedal. RockAuto sells an Airtex/Wells branded pedal for $58. When I got it it was stamped FoMoCo made in Canada. Also got the tie rods, boots and the EPAS all snugged down. Didn't connect the tie rods...

    2010 SC 4.0L to 13 F150 coyote swap.

Weather has been rough so works been slow. Got the new fuel pump control module installed and wired in. Got the old harness and PCM out along with the old trailer harness. Went a head and wired in my old FPDM wiring upgrade relay into the harness. The '11+ harness uses a larger gauge wire back...

AnotherS197GT's Coyote Swap: The Valve Dropper Special

Checking out another diagram. It looks like the '11+ SMCS on PIN 37(C175B) is equivalent to pre-'11 PIN 7 CET40(C175B). Main difference looks like the pre-'11 send the START command straight from the ignition to the starter relay, with the '11+ it goes straight to the PCM and I guess the PCM...

AnotherS197GT's Coyote Swap: The Valve Dropper Special

I think I figured a work around. I should be able to just pull the Blue/White Ignition START lead from PIN 32 on the SJB on the old harness, and run it to PIN 16 on C175B on the new harness.

AnotherS197GT's Coyote Swap: The Valve Dropper Special

Thank you sir, One last wiring question if you don't mind about the starting system. I'm a little murky on this particular pin out. The '11+ has CPP(clutch pedal postion) -- PIN-19/C175T SMC(starter motor control ) -- PIN-7/C175B SMCS( starter motor control sense) -- PIN-37/C175B...

With the 2011 fuel pump control module. Is the module looking for a contstant 12V or Ground from the Restraint control module on Pin 6 to run the pump, or can that lead be left blank? My plan is just to utilize the Pre '11 inertia switch.
