Yup.... I've tightened the heck out of them with an impact gun. However, I did have to slot one due to a bad castor angle during alignment. Maybe the bolt holding the slotted side is the culprit. Lito fixed my MPG problems.... now installing a MUCH stronger rebuilt engine.

Lito got it all taken care of.... tune issue. At least from the initial 40 mile run using his tune.

By "hacked" I assume you mean screwed up. Considering the speedometer had never been off before the tune, and now it and pretty much everything else associated with the ECU's understanding of fuel consumption is off.... Its the tune? Can you be more specific on which part(s) of the tune?

From what I have been told the cars computer looks at things like the fuel pump duty cycle, the fixed injector size, the mass air flow rate, engine load and perhaps even the throttle body position to calculate an estimated gallons used and miles per gallon. So basically a lot information goes...

I gutted the factory plates.... then plugged the runner holes with high-temp epoxy. Should I be concerned? Cleaned the old sensor... then replaced it with a NEW OEM sensor. My original COP's were working fine. No indication of failure. I replaced them with the after-market...

NOPE... wrote too soon.... not fixed. Same issue as before. Put on a new Throttle Position Sensor as well. Still no luck........... going back to the original ECU.... and square one.

New computer put in today. Car seems to be running well, with no indication of the issue. Going to drive it for at least 100 miles before I consider it solved.

Tech was out sick today..... rescheduled for this Friday. I havent messed with the SCT folks for now.

Today I was able to have Ford verify that the car ECU is in fact running the most recent program load/strategy. The tech did not see anything to indicate a possible program corruption. So a couple of weeks from now I will have my local tune shop swap out the cars ECU with one they have on...
