Might be 05-09 for life for me

I love my car, but I also love the newer Mach 1's and don't have room for both :(

What have you done to your mustang today?

I did control arms around 70k-ish, because they told me the ball joints were bad at inspection time. So they have around 40k on them now but they were no name replacements, and that job sucked. I dunno, it's weird. Bad shimmy from 60-65 and then it smooths out, and I haven't really noticed it...

What have you done to your mustang today?

Man this car is 21 years old...those things are long, long gone

What have you done to your mustang today?

First outing of the year today! Got it out and drove it to work. I LOVE these S650 performance pack wheels! So now that I have hubcentric spacers, it's super smooth at 70-75 mph, but I still have that damn steering wheel shimmy around 60. Not even sure what's causing it now :headscratch: Yes...

Old trauma unlocked (interior door trim)

Those door inserts suck. I upgraded to '10-14 style panels and they still fall off! Ended up having to fix them with silicone just like the old ones.

    Brembo Brakes upgrade

Not sure which bracket you are referring to? But yes I got stock replacement GT flex lines, calipers, rotors, pads, and make sure you get caliper hardware as well. Couple pins and clips in there you gotta have to install the pads. Something I learned awhile back by the way, get good low dust...

    Brembo Brakes upgrade

Brembo swap is super easy. Bolts right up to the spindle, attaches to the GT flex hose. You just gotta have big enough wheels.

Note for anyone looking to run '24-25 wheels on their S197

Well- maybe I'm wrong? I don't know what the difference is, I didn't take a close look at my own, I googled one and found this: But then on sites that carry this it says this fits clear back to 2005? Now I'm curious what the difference is... I'm looking at my first picture and it looks like...

Note for anyone looking to run '24-25 wheels on their S197

I posted here awhile back that I had picked up a set of '24-25 Performance Pack wheel and tire takeoffs for my car. I was putting the front wheels on and was having difficulty getting them seated against the face of the rotor, and then the hub dust cap pushed the center cap out. So, apparently...

What have you done to your mustang today?

Got the last two pieces I needed for my manual track swap. You may be asking, why did I get a camel lever for the seat raising/lowering mechanism? Well, because it was 1/5 the price of a black one (which are going for $60+!). I just painted it black with vinyl & fabric paint.

Does anyone know how to disassemble this type of electric connector?

OK I figured it out on my own. You have to push the red part inside the connector out from the back with something really skinny (I actually used the rod part of a tobacco pipe cleaning tool because it was the only thing I could find small enough to fit in there) and then you can push back the...

Does anyone know how to disassemble this type of electric connector?

This is the main plug for the driver's seat. Since I swapped to a manual track, I want to de-pin the two big pins and keep the three small ones as that's all I need now. But I'm not sure how to get the pins out. I think that orange piece in the middle has to come out to remove the pins but I...

What have you done to your mustang today?

Woo I finally got HUBCENTRIC wheel spacers for my car (I had to run spacers with the S550 wheels, had a highway vibration, realized I didn't have hubcentric spacers) so now I can get those S650 performance pack wheels on there finally.

What have you done to your mustang today?

Ok after a couple hours of trimming and test fitting I got it done tonight. So this is the piece you have to cut out, and you have to bend up the piece inside a bit to clear the back of the ratcheting mechanism. After a little more grinding and clearancing, the finished product. This was...

What have you done to your mustang today?

I WAS working on a seat swap.... My driver's side leather was in terrible shape. I had already replaced the bottom seat skin and then the seat back got a hole in one of the lumbar supports and started to split. Well, I decided, instead of just fixing the seat why not swap in some better seats...

What's this third plug in the radio harness for?

I remember having the same issue at first and had to switch some speaker wires.

Can an Explorer 4.6 3V coolant crossover be made to work on our engine?

Well, at some point I guess I'm gonna find out if this works. Pulled out the nipple on the front of the crossover, the hole was a little big for 1/2" NPT (it was 3/4" vs the 23/32" drill size for the tap) so I'm hoping I can get it to seal with some extra pipe dope and sealant. The bottom one...

    Another "sneaky" coolant leak thread

Yes that does help. I was wanting to know what size the line under the intake manifold was anyway. Trying to rig up an Explorer crossover to work and I will have to put an elbow and nipple on it.

    Another "sneaky" coolant leak thread

With those Dorman elbows, do you just plumb with regular heater hose? I haven't been into mine yet, and trying to look at some of the diagrams online is very confusing.

PCV Valve Part Number??? 2008 GT

I dunno, I typically only change my oil once a year (barely put 3000 a year on it) and it usually has a decent amount in there, but since it gets condensation mixed in with it it probably makes it look like a lot.

PCV Valve Part Number??? 2008 GT

Catch can is a must. I pulled my throttle body years ago due to a low idle condition and it was completely gunked up with oil on the inside. Put on a catch can a short time later, it catches a ton of vapor.

    Another "sneaky" coolant leak thread

Hey just curious but what size is the hose where it attaches to the plastic elbow?

Can an Explorer 4.6 3V coolant crossover be made to work on our engine?

So another question, does anyone know offhand what size the bottom nipple coming out of the crossover is so I can figure out what size I should tap it for?

Can an Explorer 4.6 3V coolant crossover be made to work on our engine?

Does anyone know why Tasca shows two different part numbers for the upper hose when they both look the same?

WTB 05-09 Front seat belt buckles
