Best cold air intake for overall peak gains. 4.6 V8

I just put in Ford performance Hot Rods last week and I like them. Low end torque I’d say is almost exactly the same as before mid-high is awesome. Lobes aren’t as big as Detroit’s or comp’s but they’re a nice drop in. No need to fuck with springs or phasers.

    Problems with pypes?

Thanks. I know that some cars have a flang gasket. But I didn’t see one when I took the old shit off. Am I missing this?

    Problems with pypes?

I hate to change the subject just a bit but I have a problem with my pypes and was wondering if I could get some help. So I have O/R H pipe and the back pressure or something keeps losening the bolts on that flang to the manifold. So should I be applying locktite or more anti seize, maybe buy...

In Failsafe mode after installing new TB

Exactly! I’m looking at getting more power without going the forced induction route and I’m not exactly sure where I wanna start. All I’ve done is easy bolt on crap K&N CAI, That new TB, Flowmaster outlaw axle backs.

Correct. That was my issue and didn’t even realize it. Next time I will go with the ford racing. The SR twin 62mm is cheap garbage. Learned my lesson :/

In Failsafe mode after installing new TB

Correct I have to swap everything. Thought it might be tsp so I bought a new one. Same problem. I will get the exact check engine codes tomorrow. But I get the stuck open and low circuit. For the most part stock, yes. I didn’t seem to have a hard time swapping the spring and motor over.

SR Performance twin 62mm. I wasn’t going to mess with the stock. Was gonna see if the screw on the new tb would help solve the problem

Recently throttle response has been sluggish. Fuel filter is new, rails and injectors should be clean. I then decided to upgrade tb.

In Failsafe mode after installing new TB

The instructions that came with it didn’t point out to take tsp voltage before you do anything. So I’m not 100% on 1.23v since i had to reinstall to stock to get the voltage. Just found out (based on a video) that I can adjust the screw on drivers side of the tb to change voltage instead of...

In Failsafe mode after installing new TB

So a no brainer I guess you could say. But the problem is I cannot for the life of me get the car out of failsafe. First installed the new tb and failsafe so I threw the old one back on to get the TSP voltage which read 1.23v then reinstalled the new rn and adjusted to 1.23v and again failsafe...

What X Pipe should I look at?

Hey all, I have a 09 GT/CS. I’m looking getting an X Pipe. At the moment I have all stock for the mostly part except Flowmaster Outlaw Axle backs.I love what I got but needs to be LOUDER. One thing I absolutely hate is Rasp. (Why I’m hesitant to get headers) I would like to know what/which I...

Hello everyone recently got a 09 California special and I'm looking into getting a CAI but good lord there's so many options. So my question is CAI worth buying and what ones should I look at? My buddies are major K&N freaks in there F-250s so idk. I want one that will work with a tune later on...
