    3v 4.0 to 4.6

If you can do all the work yourself with a full donor car, it's easy. If you simply want to swap your engine, transmission and rear end out and call it a day, you'll need to get a 2005 or 2006 donor car. The 2005 and 2006's are very similar with the exception of one connector, C110 from the body...

Need help identifying these connecting rods.

Thank you everyone for the replies. I picked them up for 500 CDN on a whim and was hoping they were decent rods.

Need help identifying these connecting rods.

Can anyone help me identify these rods. Did a Google search but not much showed up. I know they're for a 4.6L/5.0L but would like to know HP limits and the material they're made from. Tried contacting Eagle but got no response.

Electrical help on 5r55s harness to Tr3650

Quick question, did you pull some of the tape off the wires leading up to that connecter to verify colors? If not, do so. The wires right at the connector tend to get discolored due to road grime, etc...I'm trying to find the connector/wiring diagrams for the 10 now. I have diagrams for the 06...

Need Pinout Diagram for PCM Connectors

I have the factory electrical pinouts for a 06. If that works let me know.

    05\06 engine wiring harness MT

Good luck with your search as they're getting super hard to find. BTW, you can convert an automatic harness to work with a standard, so you should be searching for both.

    2005 ball joint help needed

Probably damaged the control arm where the ball joint sits and it's out of round now. I had the same problem on my 2009 Escape after hitting a curb. IMHO, it's just as easy to change the lower control arm than it is to replace the ball joint on our Stangs.

Auto to Manual Swap - Swapping Wiring Harnesses 2006 to 2007

I have the factory electrical book for a 2006. If you need anything from it, LMK. BTW, you can get a harness from a 2006 auto as well. It's very easy to convert the auto to a manual harness. I have the instructions for doing that if you need them.

CX racing turbo kit for 3v

I had way less routing issues on my On3 kit. What I really like about this kit though is the routing of the hot side pipes, they don't go under the control arms. As far as clearance problems, turbo kits always need some tweaking here and there. Doesn't matter if it's a Hellion kit, CX or On3...

Anyone know how this could happen...pic inside

I'm going to be ordering a set of Brisk 3VR12S or 3VR14S, probably the 3VR12S. Any other suggestions?

I'm at 25 degrees total timing at 6.5psi @3000 rpm+ on 94 octane. Timing while not under boost, I've seen as high as 40 degrees. Seem reasonable? BTW, does anyone have an SCT config file I could use for data logging? So many options to choose from that I'm not quite sure what I should be...

I will certainly do that. I'm going to pull out 2 to 4 degrees.

Anyone know how this could happen...pic inside

Ok let's put this in the book of weirder things to happen. The piston didn't hit anything as diagnosed via compression check and bore scope. What did happen is somehow the porcelain slipped out of it's spot in the plug. I can shake the spark plug up and down and the porcelain portion hides...

If there's any damage I'll be building sooner than I thought. Was going to do a rebuild this winter anyhow.

Just backfires. It just started to backfire a few days ago so I parked the car. Just had a chance to pull the plugs today. I'm going to run a bore scope down the piston and check for any damage. Anything else I should check for? Fuel trims maybe? BTW it threw codes 0300, 0307, P0172 and P0175

Turbocharged 4.6L 3V, 6 PSI, Autolite HT0 plugs. Never seen a plug do this before. My first impression is obviously piston to spark plug contact but then I noticed how the center section of the plug seems to be pulled down towards the ground electrode. Only thing I can think of is the piston...

Looking for a constant 12 volts in the trunk of my 2005 GT

If you only need KOEO power (Key On Engine Off) power you can pick that up from the white wire on the fuel pump driver module. Of course you'll also have power from that line when the engine is running as well.

    HID light adapters.

Does anyone know where I can buy a set of HID adapters that will allow me to install a H13 xenon bulb in a 2006? I need the buld retainer ring.

Brain is fried on brake swap

I have ARP racing wheel studs (3") in all four corners so small wheel spacers aren't a problem. I think they're 3/16" or so if I remember correctly.

Brain is fried on brake swap

Washers may or may not be needed. When I did the mod with washers my front end shook like crazy. Removed the washers and not a single problem for over a year now. Forgot to add that my car started life as a V6 so it is possible that the V6 spindles are slightly different than the V8 ones.

    3v turbo build

Here's my car on 6.5lbs with the Brenspeed turbo cams/70mm On3 turbo. Car starts to really pick up at about 3000 rpm.

Had to get the V6 out for a "spin" today.

Those are some awesome rides. I'd love to build a Javelin someday; very good looking cars IMHO.

Had to get the V6 out for a "spin" today.

Literally everything on the car is used. I'm a frugal Mustang owner and do all my work myself so no labor charges involved. I'd say I have about 10K in this car, including the cost of the car. For me it was cheaper to go V6 to V8 route, although that was never my intention when I bought the...
