    Convertible?

    The top is down from October to May on my 05 GT. Because of the heat, humidity and frequent daily downpours here in Florida during the summer months, the car rarely gets driven June to September but when I do take it out, the top is up and a/c is on.

    Changing ATF in the 5-speed

    I don’t know if this is related to transmission fluid, but the whole console, and especially the shifter (Hurst) puts out lots of heat. I haven’t had a chance to measure the temp yet but it seems unusually hot after 10 minutes or so of running. Anyone have this issue?

    I will check the fluid. Someone told me that Ford used automatic trans fluid in these but Tremec recommends a synchromesh fluid
