I've changed to Mercon V in a TR3650. Same as the factory fill. Tremec says you can use Mobile 1 synthetic ATF if you want although I have no experience using it.

Check to make sure your spark plugs aren't loose (loose enough to turn by hand). They're only torqued down to about 15 ftlbs (should not be 20+ ftlbs unless they're the redesigned 2008+ style sparkplugs) A loose plug will create a subtle "ticking" noise that will be borderline noticeable...

From what I remember, They were course thread and about an inch long with a #2 phillips head. I'll measure them with a set of vernier calipers next time I'm in the car. I don't have a thread pitch gauge however
