    2012 GT steering "grinding" after lowering?

    I may have found the culprit. I had to dimple the headers to clear the steering shaft when I installed them, and I'm thinking I didn't dimple them enough. A little mark with a paint marker shows that the headers are rubbing a bit. I probably just didnt notice the problem until the car was lowered.

    Long tube headers upgrade

    I had no issues with header clearance until I lowered my car. Now, I scrape the collectors if I go over a speed bump at more than a crawl. Not sure why you'd want to keep the stock exhaust sound. It seemed way too quiet for a sports/muscle car.
