    On many modern cars, they don't take well to aftermarket cats. Just like Ford vehicles don't enjoy running with aftermarket alternators, same idea Replace the cat with a Ford part, get the code tuned out of it, or just ignore it lol

    The skirt area in question is the panel that runs under the door, from the back of the front wheel opening, to the front of the rear wheel opening. on '10-'12 cars, they are black.
