Slight update... I went to the ford dealership and got a price and ordered the door valve actuator. $25.25 with tax. Too bad they didn't have it and I didn't feel like driving the 70+ miles to get it. So I'll have it tomorrow. There'll be a delay in replacing it because tomorrow I have my...

    Clicking problem...

I'm going camping tomorrow morning and won't be back for a couple days. When I get back I'll take pictures and a video so people can hear what it sounds like. I'll keep everyone up to speed when I get back.

Found it! It's the mode door actuater. Thanks klaw for the link earlier. Now the fun part. There's 2 actuators. One for defrost and one for air. Looking at the pictures I can't tell which is which. I do know that when I disconnect the upper one the clicking stops. Better news is that it's just 2...

Well I did more troubleshooting on it today. It's definately not the blower motor. I disconnected it and it still did it. It's definately in the dash only. In the defrost position it won't make the noise. So what's the air diverter part called that routes air to diferent parts of the dash? It...

The tranny has never been out of the car. My mods are small and simple. I've done a MGW short throw shifter, K&N CAI and Diablo tuner. I have gutted the factory radio and replaced head unit, speakers and added subs. So as I said the mods are small. Anyone know where the blower motor is located...

I know you're trying to help man. And it's not the cam. I had my friend listen under the hood and there's no sound coming from the engine. It's actually coming from inside the dash. With all air controls turned off it still does it when I turn the ignition to "on" but not "start". I was thinking...

    Clicking problem...

Now I remember why I stopped posting on forums. Forget that I asked for help. I'd rather take it to a dealer then listen to fucktards with an engorged E-Peen that they wanna show everyone. Thanks for putting a sour taste in my mouth with this site.

    Clicking problem...

So I was taking my daughters to dinner and it made the clucking sound on start up for 2 seconds then went away. Just as I was about to put it in gear I turned on the AC and it started to click for 2 seconds again then went away. Blower fan maybe???? It sounds like plastic on plastic. The part...

    Clicking problem...

Battery is good. My friend had driven it a couple times and says it was doing it on start up but wasn't only with the starter. He said it was when the ignition was put into "on" but not all the way into start. It only does it for about 2 seconds then stops.

    Clicking problem...

Anyone ever had a loud clicking sound when the starter is engaged and stops when the starter shuts off? It's pretty loud and sounds like it's coming from the upper center of the dash. The problem is intermittent and is annoying. Seems like when ever I have a friend available to listen under the...

Recommend a good Tuner in Vegas for a FRPP SC.

Only one I heard anything about was Neverez racing 702-499-1222. I haven't had them tune my car yet. I have checked out their shop and it's pretty nice. I have one friend that swears he's awesome and another that says the owner is an A hole. I'm waiting till I install my gauges before I let...
