    Oh I had it backwards.

Designed to be this way or? 2005 GT

Yes it goes arrow straight under acceleration. It's more under braking and just regular rolling along. That chart I believe says I have 0.10 positive toe. Shouldn't there be negative toe?

Designed to be this way or? 2005 GT

1st. I have replaced inner and outer tie rods, added GT 500 front and rear lower control arms, Gt500 strut mounts, and STR-T orange Koni struts and shocks. New Toyo Proxes sport A/S 275 width on 18x10 inch rims square. Had it aligned these are the numbers. Everything is in the green and the car...

    Pedals too close together

Since it is a common problem I looked today down there to see what was going on. What I observed for my size 13s (tennis shoes) was that if I slid my foot completely on the brake pedal it doesn't come close to the go pedal. When I move my foot from the gas to the brake I am unconsciously...

    Pedals too close together

Following I have that same problem. Size 13. Once I pulled into a parking space with the clutch in and had the stereo blasting and didn't realize I was pushing the go pedal as well as the brake. Embarrassing to say the least.

    Weird front End clicking/ticking

Confusing as you say it happens at 1100 to 1600 rpm but your video to show the noise barely hits 1000.

    Driveshaft balancing the Ford way?

I think they made them 12 point bolts because there is such a limited access angle to them. I think I used a 2 foot 1/2 breaker bar, a 1/2 to 3/8 adapter, a 3/8 wobbly, and a short 12 point 12mm socket. And yes I too was taught to use only 6 point sockets with an impact and preferably an impact...

    Driveshaft balancing the Ford way?

My local Napa had a set of the bolts. Also I was able to reach over the tail shaft from under the car and move the shifter linkage from 1st to neutral and back. Made a huge difference not needing to climb out from under the car for each bolt when torqueing them down for my aging body.

    Driveshaft balancing the Ford way?

For me an impact wasn't going to do it. The angle is wrong and there was too much movement of the driveshaft which cushioned the impacts. I think I only got one loose with it and that was after heat and PB Blaster. For me what worked was having the car in first gear and using a long breaker bar...

    Wet weather dead battery

1st thing I would do if I bought an S197 is pull both cowls, clean out the collection areas under the wipers, and remove, clean, and silicone all the cowl clips down. 2nd would be to pull the trim over the doors and reseal them. After seeing the way both systems are designed every S197 ever...

    differential cover upgrade

I watched a vid of the Banks guy testing different types of diff covers. He made a cover out of clear material so you could see the way the oil flowed. After watching that I would be very hesitant about changing the cover without first doing some serious research. Of course he is pushing his...

What have you done to your mustang today?

Thought someone tried to break into my car. I went to get in it and the door handle opened the door but did not retract. Seems it is a common thing. So I got in there and the mechanism on the handle was tweaked. It has plastic ears holding a pivoting lever and they had spread enough to let one...

What have you done to your mustang today?

I went with Moog when I did my front end. I didn't know they had a lifetime warranty. I also went with Koni STR-T shocks and struts that I understand have lifetime warranties. I have no paper receipts for either since I bought them online. Any warranty might be a problem obtaining.

Looking to improve handling without lowering the car

I am sure mine are stock and I have no discernable body roll. However I don't push the limits I guess. Seems like a stiffer setup would lead to its own set of issues on a bumpy corner.

Why all the sway bar recommendations? Are the stock sway bars not adequate?

Looking to improve handling without lowering the car

I replaced my stock shocks and struts at 150K with Koni STR-T using the stock springs. I could barely make my roll curb at stock height due to the low hanging Roush bumper so springs were a no go. I also replaced front and rear LCAs and upper strut mounts. All GT500 stuff. New 275 width tires...

quick question! factory MAF sensor screw size?

I don't know but if the CAI actually does have a carb sticker Why not leave it on and install the factory tune? Seems like it would still run well enough as most of the tune for it would be in the upper rpms. I doubt the smog shop would rev it up that high if your worried about damaging...
