    Heavy vibration on hard right turn - Ideas why?

    Do you have headers, and if so what is the clearance between the left header and steering shaft. I used to get vibrations when turning right. I had stock motor mounts at the time. I loosened the motor mount nuts and shifted motor to the right 1/8" or so. Vibration went away for me.

    I did change tires from mt ET street 325/50r15 to mt ET street r (bias) 28x11.5r15. Both are 28" have tried 14-18 psi no changes on the top end.     Based off figures I felt the 4.30 were the right choice. When I said I blew the rear I ment I grenaded the factory diff and went with a trutrack this time. I do have full bmr suspension and have airlift. Been the same suspension the whole time.

    Car looks great Scott! I used the right side center port on the tank for a quick release. Works great at the track when changing air pressure and airing the tires back up for the drive home.

    Yes the new bolts will need to be countersunk. The straps are directly above. I used 1/4-20 stainless. As for where to mount I just measured so the tank was centered and the mounts are between the oval cutouts on the rear deck. If you need anything just let me know.

    Thanks guys. And yes it's a bag from a truck. Correct they do not twist but lean a little. I used some channel on top to straddle the pinch weld also there is rubber in the channel to prevent damage and slipping.

    So I got bored and I'm tired of driving up on blocks to jack up the car. I decided to build an airbag jack. Plus when at the track I won't have to bring a floor jack with me to switch tires. Just tested it out this morning. Lifts the car at 75 psi

    Ya I remember seeing that on a sat morning hot rod show a few years back. Every time they beat the pipes they ran the motor on a dyno. There was one point they actually made more power.

    Ya it was an awesome deal. Once I get home this weekend I'm gonna get everything back together and see if there is any difference. If I notice a slight difference at all I'm gonna get some tubing and try to change the routing. Not much room to work with.

    I was also thinking the same but then again it's defiantly pre intake so it will settle down by then also the huge intercooler will make up for turbulent air. I'm just worried about possible back pressure on the head unit itself .

    Thought about that too. As far as I could tell clocking the head unit is a no go. And if I could have there would have to be several cuts on the piping to make it work. There is defiantly no forgiveness in the routing.
