    I was going to suggest unplugging the injectors from the harness and letting the motor turn over on the starter with the spake plugs removed to make sure you don't have any puddles of fuel in the bottom of the cylinders.     I big part about FPC motors being "low on torque" is due to their low relative displacement. a 5.2 FPC V8 is pretty much unheard of in modern times and the motor should make good torque for the RPM band the engine is designed to operate in.

    I wouldn't say solve (because the 2nd order vibrations will ALWAYS be present), they just beefed the hell out of the components they needed to so it would stand up and then put in the right amount of dampening between the motor and the chassis so that owners wouldn't complain.

    Did you talk to Darton about the length of the sleeves? I believe that they can be made to keep the piston skirts from protruding out of the bore, but I think that might limit your stroke options. Just something else to consider.

    I experienced slip with a Spec Stage 3+ at around 600ftlb, but I think a leaky rear main seal was letting oil get on the clutch surface. I replaced the rear main seal and upgraded to a twin disc spec and never looked back.

    Exactly what I thought. It looks like the spring cracked about half way through and then took a while to completely fail (the grey vs the bright orange sections of the spring where it failed.)

    E85 N/A 3V

    There isn't any appreciable gains with E85 on a stock compression 3v. If you have a 11:1 or better compression built motor and you will see better gains. stock 24lb injectors are right on the edge depending on how many bolt on's and power you are making. Stock fuel pump is fine.

    I'm a firm believer that the tires on the Camaro made the biggest difference. The mustang suspension did seem to throw itself around a lot more than the Camaro's suspension did though.
