You have to still put the key in ignition to keep steering wheel unlocked but can have it wired so its push button only

I've never understood why anyone would do this. All it does is add an extra step to starting your car.

You can also add another hidden switch for theft security. if it's wired in line with the push button switch, the hidden switch would have to be flipped in order to start car.If done right, no one can start your car without knowing where the flip switch is, this disables the start function. If done right this method is a great theft deterrent.

I used a Honda S2000 start button but the SHR version can be wired to avoid having to use the key.
