made 1030 rwhp on my 2012 Boss 302 with the JPC triple pump return style fuel system. this is with a built LM racing motor, procharger and E85. You guys looking for big power will need big fuel. Call JPC and ask about their fuel hats and systems

If there using the Aeromotive pumps the filter is going to get stained because the coating will fall off.

Getting ready to do this myself.

We have the JPC hat and triple walbros already.

Not enough line though. Currently #8 feed splitting to 2 eights and 6 back from the regulator.

Was planning on going from the 75's to the 100 ID injectors and upgrading the line size.

I run 6an lines from the pumps to the y-block. Then 10an to the regulator and split to the rails with 8an lines. The return line is a 8an back to the tank. Had the ID1000 injectors, but now stepping up to the ID2000. Also my Aeromotive 340's took a crap in E85 and all of them burned up. Now moving on to Detschwerks pumps, on order and on the way.

Goodluck on the build BTW.

Our hats dont have a y block. the 1st units had a single -8 outlet we have since upgraded to a single -10 outlet.

Why are you guys not running the walbro 400 in tank pumps?

the jpc hat unlike the walbro only has a single fitting on the top. I was thinking of taking my current 8 feed and making that my return, and running a 10 out of the hat all the way to the y at the rails with 2 8's at the rails.

Sounds cool, a single outlet with no Y- block. The four connections to the Fore hat are a pain in the ass I know that. Might look at changing the hats out to run one single feed and return line.

Tell me more about the Walbro 400 in tank pump. To be honest I haven't seen anybody say much about them.

thats a pic of the CP-E top hat, a really well designed piece. IMO

as far as the walbro pumps go. SO far we have tried them in a few cars and everything seems fine so far. i will say you can only fit 2 400 pumps in the old fore setup. The CP-E hat will hold 3 of them. However not that many people a need 1200 LPH set up. i mean the 340s will make 1000 to the roller on e85. With all that being said i guess time will tell. A side note the Walbro stuff is not coated so at least you dont have to worry about that part of it.

Very very nice looking hat. Looks like a nice upgrade from the Fore hat that I run. I just hate all the hose connections, makes it very hard to install and remove.

The Walbro 400 looks like a lot of pump. How does it hold up E85 and what kinda warranty does it have? I know the Deatschwerks has a 3 year warranty and clearly states E85 compatible. This is the main reason I went with three of them and should be plenty to make 900rwhp on E85.

But, with that said, I like the rep Walbros have. They have been around awhile and seem to run really well with not much problems. Whole lot of talk about the pumps running like crap when they warm up and the old Walbros would run all day with no problems. Three Walbro 400 pumps in your guys hat would be a nasty setup. Would flow a ton of fuel and would be the last fuel system most of us would ever have to buy.

Diggin the discussion, all those changing up the fuel systems please keep the forum updated. In spring I'm taking the leap into a fuel system in my daily driver to support e85 on my roushcharged car. The single outlet hat sounds interesting, as do the Deatschwerks pumps. I've run the walbro in e85 before with no issues but the fact they aren't rated for it, even the 400's makes me a little iffy on them for a daily driver.

I won't need near the fuel you guys do and would probably only run e85 five months of the year and gas during the remaining colder months. Pump longevity especially with swapping back and forth between fuels, and simplicity and less places for leaks like this hat with the single outlet will be what makes me jump into a purchase and do the swap.

i'm not familiar with the Deatschwerks pumps. Will they be plug and play as the walbros are?

Yep, direct plug and play. Looks just like the Walbros, Stryker, Stealth 340 (minus coating), etc...

3 year warranty and E85 compatible.

http://www.deatschwerks.com/products/fuel-pumps/300-lph-high-flow-in-tank-fuel-pump

Outflow the Competition Introducing the highest flowing in-tank pump yet. Surpassing the competition 300LPH at a time.

Flows 300+ litres per hour In-tank application specific fitment Ethanol compatible 3-year no-fault warranty Quiet and reliable turbine impeller

Universal pump kit includes:

2"x2" sock Electrical connector 4" of fuel line Miscellaneous hardware

The Walbro 400 dont have the same power connection. But looks to include a adapter to make it work. Also the base is much larger than the rest. Can't tell from pics of the length. Was sold on the 3 year warranty and the fact they say it is ethanol compatible.

BTW sorry to :hijacked:, but we did make it tech.... LOL

Yep, are a little expensive. But if they stand behind the warranty for three years, could be worth it. I burned up three Aeromotive pumps in as little as 4 months with what ever was all over the pre-filters. Kinda crazy and would have never thought it, but stuff happeneds.

This time I am going to keep the boxes and all paperwork just in case....... LOL..... Don't want to spend another $500+ on pumps.
