13b Rotary Geeks Come on in!

I hope this is the right place to put this...

I'm kicking around the idea of building a 400hp rotary for a 2500-3000 lb car I have. It is currently just a stripped chassis so everything will have to be fab'ed and wired.

How much does it cost to build one up to 400? what are the known issues? Which model rotary is best, and which will work?

i know more about rotaries than i want too. lol.

the renesis 13B(out of the RX8) is total junk. dont let anyone tell you different. its poor design that literally cannot be fixed.

stick with a true 13B, cryo'd with the right apex seals they can make 400whp all day with the right turbo.

I was originally thinking about getting a 13btt and rebuilding and porting it. But then I saw you can get 20b for 4k, pricey but how sexy would that be with triple turbos!

How much would a 400hp 13b build cost assuming I bought a used motor and did a basic overhaul myself.

I'll likely need a stand alone, so I'm open to suggestions.

This is all just crazy ideas I have, lots more projects to finish before attempting this one.
