I picked up a 2011 GT base model automatic a couple weeks ago. Went to Rock Falls Raceway in Wisconsin today. Bone stock except old bald 255/50-16 M/T Drag Radials. 1/3 tank of 91 octane, no weight removed, stock paper air filter, stock tune.
Best ET was a 12.89 @ 108.45 (last run of the day, calculated about 1850 DA), best MPH was the first run of the day, 110.88 (calculated about 1650 DA)

Do you have any future mods planned?

I do. Most likely start with a tune and CAI. I have a JBA axleback sitting in a box in my garage, and some lowering springs. Then I'll go the track and run some mid-12s or whatever. Hopefully I can score a deal on a used Paxton/Vortech kit of some sort in the semi-near future.

I have SVE Drifts in a 18x10 square setup on order but I might just cancel that order so I can focus on forced induction. Not sure yet.

How come? Seems like everyone does them. Obviously it would come off if I switched to a blower/turbo setup but it would be easy enough to resell I'm sure.

No gains from them...

What rpm were you launching from? I'm surprised you're not running mid 12's stock

No gains from a CAI. Put your money to better use.

Well I had heard that some people had the best luck flashing the converter from idle, so I tried that and my car didn't seem to like it as much. Mine ran the best times when I stalled it up as high as I could and floored the throttle just before releasing the brake pedal.

It ran about what I expected. For some reason nobody around here runs the great times that we read about on the internet. I'm guessing that those times are in much better air or whatever. For what it's worth, my best time corrects to a 12.6x and best mph corrects to high 112s if I correct to zero DA, but I don't make a big deal about corrected stuff.

That is exactly what I ran bone stock in my '14 with less than a 100 miles on it. Then I added a tune, o/r h-pipe and drag radials and went [email protected]. I picked up .43 in the 1/4 and only 1 mph with the tune and o/r pipe.

My 60'was a 1.98. Ohh and I have 3.15 gears. Not sure what yours is. If it was posted I missed it.

Need a better tune. Should have picked up 3 mph with tune only.

seems pretty good for the conditions. i managed to run a 12.74 with a 2.0 60' with stock tires with basically the same car. i think it has a lot to do with the da and the launch.
