I found a 2013 TR6060 with driveshaft, flywheel and clutch.
Does anyone know what else it will take to put this in?
Or does anyone know if its been done?
I read that the new transmission has an internal mechanical oil pump, I will assume I need to buy a cooler/heat exchanger.

Output shaft is different.
Gearing is different.
Says it has an internal oil pump?
Other than that I don't think so.
I think the casing would be the same.
I am just seeing if anyone knows of something before I buy.

I know the gear ratios/ torque rating are different in 10-13 versus 07-09 TR6060s. Maybe contact Tremec to confirm and post your findings? I am curious on the differences as well.

Only track pack models came with the machining for external oil cooler fittings.
Master cylinder is redesigned and a spring has been placed on the pedal assembly to aid the driver

I've pulled some of my clutches out that had hot spots similar to what you have pictured. They still functioned fine. However, now is the time to think about an aftermarket clutch.

I took a chance, I am hoping it will hold out and not cause any problems.
Here is the clutch surface.

Other side.

So far it seems the clutch master cylinder was revised for 2013.
Supposedly it has a bigger bore and is made of metal not plastic like its predecessors.

I also found the engine backing plate was a different part number?

I will have the clutch master cylinder in my hands wednesday.
And I am hoping the backing plate will come before friday.
If there is any difference I will post what I find.

Tranny was installed 2 days ago and my initial impression is that I am a complete idiot for not doing this swap earlier.

No problems with the install and it feels very solid.

The stock steel flywheel and clutch are great so far.

Did not have time to install the newer designed master cylinder, will do tomorrow.

Clutch engagement is much higher from the floor and is so much easier.

There seems to be a drone at 60mph but that is most likely due to the 1600rpm it sits at, so much better than 2300ish with the tr3650.

1st gear is very streetable with my 4.10's and 28" rears.

I am really happy driving this car again, it has been awhile.
I have nothing but confidence with this setup as opposed to the stocker.
Love my car again!!

I'm not going to rag on the tr3650 I think the setup I chose for this car and its actual use were a problem.
It was a snappy setup with the 3650 and aluminum flywheel.
I heel toe rev matched with this setup but found it revved so fast that I couldn't be consistent with it. Operator error.

But I was always concerned when trying to get a good launch out of it, I knew that sooner than later it was going to succumb to 500ftlbs.

After taking a look at my old clutch setup I can see and feel a major problem.
My bad driving habits glazed and heat spotted the flywheel friction surface and the pressure plate.
I can feel the height differences with my finger nail.

On a good hard launch attempt I would occasionally get a loud metallic screech.

The first time this happened was when I left I left the shop when I had my engine installed and tuned.

After driving it for about 2000 miles and getting home I tried to launch the car from a standstill.

SCREECH and slave was toast.
Never felt right about it again.
I know Cool story Bro.

I missed this. Glad you have it together. The 6060 is so much better than the 3650 that it's hard to compare them and stay positive towards the 3650.

The 6060 swap is beneficial in an na application too imo. I've never missed my 3650 for any reason because the 6060 trumps it greatly in every possible aspect.

The 6060 is the 6 speed manual correct, in the new GT Mustangs? Also it works with the 4.6L?
