I'm not going to rag on the tr3650 I think the setup I chose for this car and its actual use were a problem.
It was a snappy setup with the 3650 and aluminum flywheel.
I heel toe rev matched with this setup but found it revved so fast that I couldn't be consistent with it. Operator error.
But I was always concerned when trying to get a good launch out of it, I knew that sooner than later it was going to succumb to 500ftlbs.
After taking a look at my old clutch setup I can see and feel a major problem.
My bad driving habits glazed and heat spotted the flywheel friction surface and the pressure plate.
I can feel the height differences with my finger nail.
On a good hard launch attempt I would occasionally get a loud metallic screech.
The first time this happened was when I left I left the shop when I had my engine installed and tuned.
After driving it for about 2000 miles and getting home I tried to launch the car from a standstill.
SCREECH and slave was toast.
Never felt right about it again.
I know Cool story Bro.
