Yes, they will bolt up, but you will need a new GT500 valance to clear the quad tips. This will require you to trim the factory rear bumper cover, but it's not a big deal.

You can get one from one of the "big-box" Mustang parts retailers...American Muscle, Late Model Restoration, CJ Pony Parts, etc.

They do not have quad tips. Below is the Craigs List ad:

http://stlouis.craigslist.org/pts/5837039643.html

Now I am wonder what this ad is really selling???
Maybe trying to sell this:
http://www.americanmuscle.com/ford-gt500-axleback-2011gt.html

Thoughts?

I think the person selling on CL is either being obtuse to bamboozle somebody, or they are stupid. 50/50 shot just looking at the ad.

So you are either trying to buy from somebody that drools when they concentrate, or is trying to swindle you out of money.

I'd buy from a forum before I'd buy that listing on CL.

Thanks again guys for your replies. I ended up buying the axle-backs for $180. Part numbers are F1-8214-L/R. I do have one concern. Notice in the second picture there seems to be a clip that is bent up (red circle). Can this be easily fixed? Could these have come off a 2014? If not, can anyone take a guess at year?

If they truly came off of a GT500, then they probably came off of a 2011-2012 model if they bolt up to a coyote.

Like Stkjock said, 2014 MY GT500s all had quad exhaust. And I'm not sure about the bent clip. Have you tried to install them yet? You can probably just rip it off if it serves no purpose.

Yeah, it seems they probably came off a 2011 or 2012. Just got them tonight so I have not tried to install. Probably tackle this tomorrow. Watched some YouTube install vids, seems the clamps slid into the clips. But like you said, does not appear critical. If they did come off a 11 or 12, will they bolt up to a 13? Oh, forgot to mentioned the seller was a lady with no knowledge. Said they belonged to her old bf.

Those are more than likely the GT500 axle backs that you can buy from AM or CJ or whatever. Yes, they will bolt right up and that's it. They sound great, one of the best, just wish they were a bit louder.

For a direct no nonsense bolt on, the single tip GT500's are perfect. They look and sound good. Too much involved in getting the quad tips on there with having to cut the bumper.

I had an issue with the cost of the quad conversion until I did it and now I
can say it was well worth the money.
