I'm posting this for a friend of mine, he is looking into buying a 2014 Shelby.. for those of you that have a 13/14 shelby or work at a ford dealer. He is looking for one that is fully loaded with or without a glass roof....what are people paying for them? are they selling for below or above sticker price? can you still order them directly from factory?? or does he have to deal with whats leftover at dealers??

thanks guys for any info!

Ordering for '14 GT500's stopped back in October. What's on dealer lots is all that's left. We have a loaded up coupe (not a glass roof) where I work for nearly $2K below MSRP. Click here or on the pic below for more info...

I clicked on the link, saw the payment calculator and decided that I will NOT be purchasing a new Shelby any time soon! :omfg:

Your estimated monthly payment:
$1,042 per month
60 Months @ 6.9% A.P.R. (estimated financing rate)
($13,190 Down Payment)

You should be able to get lower than a 6.9% interest rate.
But still it would be like 950/month

Haha, yeah, I know 6.9% is way high, but I saw (only) a $13K down payment and then a monthly payment of $1K for the next five years...uh, no thanks!

I almost bought a '13 but, missed it by a day and then, came to my senses and bought my current Mustang. 8)

Plenty of our customers qualify for rates in the 1.99% to 2.99% range. Many banks will go 72 months. Some go 84 months. And there's even one credit union near us crazy enough to go 120 months (please don't ever do that to yourself, though).

Lol 120 months sounds like hell. My interest is in the 3% range at 72 but I hope to have it paid off in the next year.

Wow, that's interesting. I have never heard of a bank/credit union/etc going past 72 months on a car loan. 120 months??? That's like a mortgage! LOL

Must admit, I was thinking the same thing. Very nice looking car!
