Will these tires fit the stock gt bullits? I know it will be close. I ordered them without thinking and am stuck with them. I cant afford wider rims at this point. so will they fit till I can in a couple of weeks?

they will fit aslong the shop you bring to knows what they are doing. i have friends with new edge mustangs running 315 nittos on stock wheels which are the same width as ours.

Any shop that knows "what they are doing" would probably not mount them.

what i meant was a shop that knows how to squeeze them on. i never said it was a smart thing to do. i will tell you that i have been told by several experienced guys that on a 17x8 you will get more contact patch out of a 275 40 17 than you will out of anything wider

well no worries got some 17x9 from a buddy they should fit on those.

I have those tires on some 9" wheels and they actually fit real nice. 9" wheels are also super easy to find.
