Airbag light Recaro Seats

After all these years I bought a set of 2013 Recaro seats (Boss 302) for my 2013 mustang GT. The Boss was totalled. Driver seat airbag went off, seat was fixed with a new airbag. Passenger seat never went off as no passenger in the car. Once I put the seats in I have 2 airbag codes. B1231 crash detected. U0151 Lost Communication with RCM. I checked the harness and they are plugged in correctly. Obviously I can not clear the codes. I know 2012 seats do not work in a 13. But this is a 13 Boss with a build date only 30 days before mine.

Any suggestions of what to do?

If anyone ever has same issue as I did, I was very lucky today! Found service company come out tonight to my house. Passenger seat air bag module was locked showing crash. Encoded driver seat and passenger seat to my VIN. Able to reflash whole airbag system and it worked! Took the tech 15 minutes.

I was going to ask if you can bypass them with an air bag simulator (I did that on my Taurus) but you did it the right way.

One good thing about newer "computerized" vehicles - problem reset. Glad you got it figured out.
