Better not let him read this...remember he has qualifications that Ford engineers would bow to. He's some sort of engineering demi-god. ;)

Op - are you having any issues with lag during logging with live link?

Only issue I'm having with gen-II live link is that it always crashes prior to connecting. I usually have to start it up 3-4 times before the PIDs will load correctly

Since both you guys are techs.......

What's your best advice for me to go back to the dealer with??

As of right now. I have a 3 month old car with 2500 miles that drives like shit that's also my DD. To add salt to the wound I also have a full paxton kit with all the goodies that is sitting in my living room as a $5000 paper weight until this whole thing gets figured out.

how about a video of how it is driving like shit?

^great idea. Maybe email a couple of short clips of the idle and whatever else you think would be good for them to hear/see.

Op- I've been having trouble with it crashing during logging or while I'm saving the log. Driving me nuts. I sure hope you get this worked out.

I guess "driving like shit" would be an overstatement but its really down on power and back fires a lot. It definitely idles like shit. The whole car shakes every 1-2 seconds.

And you're running the stock intake with the stock tune?

Do you have an option to clear the KAM, it might be under "special options" or something similar on your SCT tuner if you updated it's firmware to the most recent.

Try tightening the gap on the plugs slightly as well.

I'm not a tech by any means, but could you have a batch of bad gas? Or possibly pulled some debris out of the tank and screwed up an injector?

Tried the KaM reset a couple days ago on the hand held. Didn't change anything.

Refilled a few days ago at a different gas station I'm about half way through this tank now. Doesn't seem to be a bad fuel issue.

You can try another dealer. If I was the tech I would have fixed it and I believe most dealers would. Well I like to think they would. Since its stock. Or we can try to diagnose it on our own. You can also try calling the 800 number and get it escalated. Since your going to a supercharger your pretty much throwaway your warranty. Well not completely since u can still get a motor covered if you play your cards right.

This whole situation sure sounds like a vacuum leak to me. Stock cats and midpipe? Could the cats have been damaged during the time the turbo was on the car? Sometimes aftermarket tunes will burn up the stock cats...better off running offroad with some tunes.

Stock cats and mid pipe.

When the turbo kit was on, it had a off road exhaust. The cats were on my car for only the first week I owned it.

you have a cell phone, take a video of the idle, inside and outside of the car. focus in on your tach if you can.

I have an iPhone and a iPad.

I would take a video but its raining outside right now. As far as the idling goes on the tach, it really doesn't move that much but the car shakes from the way it's actually idling. It's kind of hard to explain.

If I can get a vid of the mufflers, it would probrally be more helpful.

Doesn't show much. Any codes?

We can try swapping injectors from bank 1 to bank 2 and 2 to 1 see if it moves. Same with o2 sensors.

Send me a log after you cleared cam so I can see what fuel trims are doing along with 02 sensors. Just want to see that measures AF says.

The log he sent me last week, where his front widebands were not reporting... his STFT and his LTFT's were within 1%, which is pretty damn good.

Now his log did lack RPM.

Nick, is your throttle body torqued down properly and are all of it's electrical connections secure?

Just one o2 or both weren't reporting?

None of the front wideband's were reporting, they were coming up as NaN, but his LTFT & STFT both looked terrific.
