Going to run my GT at ATCO this Saturday. Wondering if anyone will be there from this forum or would like to be?

Open runs starting at Noon on 3/10

Trying to best my old time of 14.0 stock with a sub par 2.1XX 60 on bald stock Pirellis.

I have since added 275 Nitto 555s on 18x10s. 4.10s and a C&L Racer intake with Bama Race Tune for 93.

Not sure what to expect :)

I might be there to get some practice in for Sunday at E-town using the trans-brake on a pro .400 tree.

I am just going for some runs. I never race competitively. Just mainly race against myself. I will be there with my friend in his 135i

Today went well practicing for E-town tomorrow. Other than 1 time I was sleeping at the tree, my reaction on the pro .400 tree was .067 and better every time. Best was an .021. Damn I love using the trans-brake!

I was there. I watched you. I wanted you to know that I recorded a great zoomed in video of one of your runs. If you want to see it or would like the file, just let me know.

If you have a youtube account post it up...I'd love to see it. The only vid's I usually get are the ones I record from my cell phone from my windshield.

I don't recall seeing the car in your picture there. I only remember a silver 5.0 and a blue one with transformer symbols on it with some satin black rims.

Racing at ATCO tonight if anyone wants to tag along or meet me there.

It will be me and my friend with his GTI.

I'll be trying out my new tune and headers and 'broken in' shifter. My friend will be trying his GTI for the first time.

$15 to race. between 5 and 6 I'll be there.

I feel like 12's are in the car as is.

I have C & L Racer intake, Pypes LT headers with O/R X Pipe and their Mufflers. I have 4.10's and a mail 93 Race Bama tune with Hurst shifter. Running 275/40 Nitto 555s on 18x10 wheels.

13.122@ 107.80 MPH with a 1.993 60' foot time. I ran my 13.366 @ 105.15 without header and a 1.962 60'.

So with a worse 60', I picked up 2.5ish MPH from the headers and about 2.5 tenths. I also sun almost completely through second sideways which it wasn't doing without the headers so the headers new addition of power is obvious.

With 107.80 I believe 12.999's or faster are attainable with better traction in 2nd and a low 1.9 or high 1.8.

It was 41 degrees at ATCO by the end of the night. The colder it got the worse the 60'.

I made 8 passes. 3 in the 13.1xx and one 13.6, one 13.4 and a few 13.2s.

No suspension mods besides FR Springs. I order J&M LCA's which I will install and see if that helps my 2nd gear spin a log with a pan hard bar. When I spin 2nd, I am twisting the rear out to the right. I didn't think I needed a pan hard bar but it is visually obvious the rear shifted even with my 1" drop. So, it would feasible that is twisting right because the rear is off set, right?

I installed J&M LCAs today. Hopefully they make an improvement. I'll probably head back to ATCO on Tuesday.
