After searching for a while, I finally picked up the exact Mustang I had wanted for almost 20 years. In 2007, I was in the market for a new Mustang but wasn't in the mood for paying thousands over MSRP like the GT500 was going for, so I settled on a 2007 Roush 427R Mustang(ordered it new). I had wanted a Torch Red GT500, but it just wasn't in the cards back then. I was still working and was working on my retirement plans, and I went with the cheaper Roush. Fast forward 14 years after I sold my Roush, and I finally found a 12,000 original mile 2008 Torch Red GT500. Now in retirement, I have the car I wanted, and it's almost brand new. That's a fraction of my 46-year span of owning various muscle cars, but those are the last two I have owned.

Congrats, beautiful car! I personally prefer the look of the 07-09 GT500 compared to what I have, but because I do some track days I didn’t want the iron block. However, local to me a really nice low mileage 07 in Grabber Orange with Tungsten Grey stripes came up for sale, which is my favourite colour combo on them. I’m tempted to ditch my 2012 to grab it.
